Welcome to Lift's Women’s Ministry!

We are women of all ages, nationalities and denominations who get together to study the Bible, share our lives, and pray for each other in the name of Jesus. We meet with the goal of encouraging each other in our walk with God, and remembering to keep our eyes, hearts and minds on Jesus.

Join us on Thursday mornings, 9:15-11am at Lift for: 

A TREASURE HUNT IN THE BIBLE!
In the week before each meeting, we read one short scripture passage per day at home (reading plan provided here), and then come together on Thursday to share what God impressed on each of us from the readings, perhaps a favorite promise, or a special theme we saw running through all the passages. Each week features a mystery theme from the Word and we will search for it as we read! The Bible is treasure from God for us, leading us to the ultimate treasure - knowing Him.

Due to the Ascension holiday, there will be NO meeting on May 9th. Our final meeting of this season is May 23rd, 2013.

The Lift Women's Ministry has recently studied Stormie Omartian's The Power of a Praying Woman; Beth Moore's Daniel; Living Beyond Yourself; A Woman's Heart - God's Dwelling Place; and Believing God; a Community Bible Study of Ephesians, and a Precepts study on Prayer.

Mothers in Prayer 

Do you want to pray for your children with other mothers, using scripture as a guide? We follow the Moms in Prayer format of praise, silent confession, thanksgiving and intercession (asking God to help our children and their school, and to bless school events and staff).
