Weekly Prayer Topics

Each week all the Lift Small Groups pray in concert focusing on a particular topic. Whether you are in a small group or not, join us by reading about this week's prayer topic on the Lift Facebook page. If you can’t make it to your small group on a given week or it isn’t meeting, you can find out how to pray with us as a church anyway. Let’s see how God responds to us all calling on Him together on a regular basis for specific requests in unity!

Prayer Topic this week: Men's Saturday breakfast.

Scripture: Psalm 133:1

"How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!"

  1. Pray that our men would encounter Jesus personally on Saturday morning
  2. Pray that the visitors who were invited would come.
  3. Pray for our speaker: Brendan Lock
  4. Pray for Kevin and his team as they organise the breakfast.
  5. Pray that the men would have loads of fun.

Thank you for praying with us.

Prayer Meetings at Lift

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

prayer

Prayer is a key element of our faith, as well as an instruction from the word of God. It's a part of the concepts of "Body: Service and Ministry", "Grow: Discipleship" and "Belong: Fellowship"

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18 NIV)

We encourage you to join us at our prayer meetings to pray for your needs and others' as we reach out to God and petition Him, with thanksgiving as well, as he answers our call.

Who can attend?

Everyone is welcome, young and old, men and women.
